Photography Workshop with Osmyn J. Oree

As part of our creative workshops to help understand what values, visuals, and voices we want to include in our mural, we invited Tangled Roots member Osmyn Oree to share his photography and take photos of community members. The photos sparked important conversations about what we want to include in the mural and how we want the community’s voice to show up. Osmyn’s recent series, I’m Still Black, sparked important conversations about Black History in Lancaster City and how it is or isn’t documented for all to learn about. Here are some images of Osmyn and the photos he brought to share.
