First Engagement Success! And What to Expect this Saturday

First day out was a huge success!

Last weekend on Saturday the 10th the Beaver Street Mural team presented coloring pages, mini zines, and an opportunity to model for the camera for some future fun temporary mini murals. We spoke with about 15 neighbors, met with a mason who will be helping us smooth out the wall, and did a little lot clean up.

This Saturday, the 17th, seed will be extra busy hosting our Trauma Informed Facilitation Practices workshop with Candy Gonzalez AND Beaver Street collage and portrait time!

If you had your photo taken, we’ll be adding some cool touches with collage materials before pasting them up to show your Beaver Street pride. We’ll also have more opportunities to talk about the mural design and add your thoughts about what we can/should change or keep.
