We’re working on a mural!

Hello Beaver Street Neighbors!

Transforming the Beaver Street lot has been a long and slow process. We understand that there may be frustration and loss of hope around the momentum that we saw just a few years ago. We hope that the upcoming projects will be an opportunity to share your perspective on what should, could, and has happened on this block! We are artists that will be working on a mural here.

We’re thinking it might look something like this…

BUT we need your help!

We also want to know more about you. What do you care about? What do you see happening here? What should or could be happening here? Who deserves to be honored here? 

We’ll be gathering safely and masked up in the future park every Saturday from 11am-3pm. There will be time and space for you to create some art with us and later in the month, get paint on the wall! We want to keep you safe and will have masks and hand sanitizer available at the entrance so you can chat with us without worry. Our first workshop will be on April 10th at 11am!

In the meantime, we’re curious about what your gut reaction is to the mural idea.
